Stage: selling or letting
Before the keys change hands.
Staging for sale or let, in a day.
A seller whose agent says the spare room "reads as storage". A landlord with viewings next week. Staging gets a home ready for its photographs and its viewings, using what is already there wherever it can.
Three ways in, for a sale or a let
Do it yourself with a list, have Laura do it in a day, or plan something bigger.
-
Staging Walk-Round
£125
Up to 90 minutes in the home and a written list of what to clear, move, mend and add.
Good for: sellers and landlords who would rather do the work themselves.
-
Staging Day
£325
Up to 7 hours using what the owner has, a finishing list of up to 10 pieces.
Good for: a home that is lived in, readied for photographs and viewings in one day.
-
Bigger Set-Up
£325 a day, written quote first
Bigger lets, several lets, or an empty home furnished with the owner's new pieces.
Good for: more than a day's work, with the number of days agreed in writing before anything is booked.
You have 14 days to change your mind after booking. See How booking works.
The owner buys furniture, linen, flowers, printing and the photographer at the shop's price. Travel is explained beside the prices once Laura sets it.
Let the space do some of the talking.
Furniture, light and textiles arranged for the camera, using what you have.
On a Staging Day the work happens in the rooms themselves: a walk-round first, then furniture, art, lighting and textiles rearranged, surplus cleared from view, and each room styled for photographs and viewings.
What the day cannot do with what you own goes on a finishing list of up to 10 pieces, for you to buy if you choose.
- First
The walk-round
Every room, with the listing photographs in mind.
- Then
Rearranged and cleared
Furniture, art, lighting and textiles moved; surplus cleared from view.
- Then
Styled, room by room
Each room set for the camera and for viewings.
- At the end
The finishing list
Up to 10 pieces that would finish it, if you choose to buy them.
For the photographs, too
The Photo Brief and Shoot Day Styling work for a sale or a let exactly as they do for a holiday let.
